ATLANTA, GA (March 14, 2018) – Peak Campus, one of the nation’s leading student housing operators and developers, recently announced they were recognized by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution as one of Atlanta’s Top Workplaces in 2018. Over 2,800 companies were nominated for consideration for this honor, with companies such as General Motors, Edward Jones, and Piedmont Healthcare also vying for one of the 150 recognitions.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is the most widely circulated newspaper publication in the Atlanta area, and bases its criteria for this award upon feedback received from anonymous employee surveys. Over 250 metro-area companies and 55,000 employees responded to these surveys, which asks individuals to rate their employer using a seven-point Likert scale. A resounding theme among the 150 Top Workplaces is that its employees feel that their employer genuinely cares about them and their wellbeing both in and out of the workplace. These workplaces utilize their resources to create employee initiatives which promote their physical and mental wellness, in addition to bolstering both personal and professional success. Employees made clear that the time and resources their employers invested in them was worth as much as the tangible benefits provided by the company.

“This award is a wonderful accomplishment for Peak Campus and is further edification that our ‘People Matter Most’ core value is thriving in both concept and practice,” said Bob Clark, Chief Executive Officer of Peak Campus. “We will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that our company culture remains intact, world class, and the center point of our strategy.”
