PEAK CAMPUS RANKED AMONG TOP STUDENT HOUSING FIRMS BY ONLINE REPUTATION

ATLANTA, GA (October 4, 2017) –Peak Campus, one of the nation’s leading student housing developers and operators, was featured as a top performer in the Student Housing ORA™ Power Rankings. 

The rankings, produced by J. Turner Research in September 2017, features the top 50 student housing properties in the nation by online reputation, tracking more than 1,100 properties nationwide across various review sites.  Peak Campus manages seven properties on the list, including three properties ranked in the top five.  The seven Peak properties who made the list were:

The student housing average ORA™ score, at 58.51, is marginally below the national average of 58.69.  The Printing House and Campus Circle boast a 95 and 94, respectively, well above the industry average.  In addition, Peak Campus also tied for the second as the management company with the most properties making the top 50 list.

J. Turner Research polled over 11,000 students in 2017 to better understand the role of online ratings and reviews in the leasing process.  Over 81% of students reportedly use online ratings and reviews to search for an apartment.  Further, over 50% of the respondents indicated that star rankings, the volume of reviews, and the content of the reviews are the top three most important factors in their rental home search.
