Peak Campus Management to Manage Three Opus/Harrison Street Development Student Housing Projects Sep

Atlanta, GA – Peak Campus Management is pleased to announce today that they have been awarded management for three new private student housing developments, located in Madison, Wisconsin; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and Minneapolis, Minnesota.  All three projects will be developed by Opus Development Company, L.L.C. (Opus), a family of national commercial real estate companies headquartered in Minneapolis, in partnership with Harrison Street Real Estate Capital, LLC, a Chicago-based real estate private equity firm.  Each project, currently scheduled to open for the 2014 school year, will feature various unit mixes and amenities, catering to each market’s unique student body and market make-up. 

Varsity Quarters will service the University of Wisconsin students in Madison, Wisconsin and feature 162-beds in a unit mix of studio, 1-, 2-, and 4-bedrooms.  In addition to a 7,500 square foot, ground-floor retail space, the project will also offer numerous amenities such as a parking garage, state-of-the-art fitness center, computer lab, gaming center, tanning bed, and in-unit washer and dryers.  The project is ideally located directly adjacent to Camp Randall Stadium. 

The Ivy on Fourteenth will offer boutique high-end housing in an unmatched core location with luxurious interior finishes to the students of Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  The Ivy will be comprised of 165-beds in a unit mix of studio, 1-, 2-, 3-, and 4-bedrooms with in-unit washer and dryers, and will include amenities such as indoor parking, a state-of-the-art fitness center, study rooms, social areas and ground-floor retail space, with Subway restaurant and other local favorites yet to be announced as tenants.

Located in the highly popular and eclectic Dinkytown neighborhood of Minneapolis, The Venue at Dinkytown will service the students of the University of Minnesota.  Standing six-stories tall, The Venue will consist of 246-beds with bed-to-bath parity, and a unit mix of studio, 1-, 2-, 3-, and 4-bedrooms and in-unit washer and dryers.  Amenities will include a 9,500 square foot, ground-floor retail space, an underground parking garage, contemporary common spaces, state-of-the-art fitness center, computer lab, and tanning bed.
