Peak Campus Development Breaks Ground on the Pavilion at North Grounds

May 10, 2012

Atlanta, GA – Peak Campus Development announced today that it has started construction on the Pavilion at North Grounds, a Class A student apartment community adjacent to the University of Virginia (UVA). The project is ideally located within walking distance of the Darden School of Business, the UVA Law School, and the Barracks Road Shopping Center.

"This project fits perfectly into our development strategy and our mission to deploy significant capital in high value assets," said Dan Fitzpatrick, President, Peak Campus Development. "This is an incredible site at a premier institution."

The Pavilion on North Grounds will serve UVA graduate students with a Class A rental offering that is currently lacking in the Arlington Boulevard corridor. The property will offer 1, 2, and 3 bedroom apartments, private bathrooms, in unit washers and dryers, high-end finishes including stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, and an optional furniture package. Community amenities will include a large multi-purpose clubhouse with WIFI, 24-hour fitness center with cardio equipment, 24-hour business center, a resort style pool, secure bike storage and ample parking.
